⦁ Special or urgent cases approved at the discretion of our organisation’s Chief Executive.
No. According to regulations set by the Hong Kong Social Welfare Department, our services are only available to Hong Kong permanent residents studying at schools in Hong Kong.
To ensure fair resource allocation and suitable matching, our organisation assigns teachers based on their qualifications, location, and availability. Requests for specific teachers cannot be accommodated.
To ensure the safety of both students and volunteer teachers, all tutoring sessions must be conducted in public venues such as fast-food restaurants, public libraries, or similar spaces. Tutoring in private locations is a serious violation and will result in immediate termination of services and the teacher’s appointment.
Eligible families are required to pay an annual membership fee of HK$100 per child. The tutoring service itself is completely free of charge.

Our volunteer teachers hold recognised university degrees from local or overseas institutions, or are currently enrolled in full-time or part-time bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral programmes at local universities.
Our organisation strictly prohibits volunteer teachers from accepting any form of benefit, including money, gifts, food, or drinks. If you encounter such a situation, please report it to us immediately. Upon investigation and verification, the teacher’s appointment will be terminated and disciplinary action will be taken.
Yes. We are a registered charity under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance.
The schedule is agreed upon between the volunteer teacher and the parent/guardian. We recommend at least one hour of tutoring per week.
Yes. We have a special education team consisting of registered teachers with a Bachelor of Education (Special Education) degree or a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Special Needs). Please indicate any special requirements on the application form.
Our services are primarily for students from Primary 1 to Secondary 6, covering a range of subjects. University students may also apply, subject to the availability of volunteer teachers in their field of study.

The average waiting time is approximately three months, though this may vary depending on the service area and teacher availability.
Each student is matched with one volunteer teacher.
All volunteer teachers are required to submit proof of identity and qualifications, a recent photograph, and must pass the Hong Kong Police Force’s Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC).
After each session, the volunteer teacher and student are required to log the tutoring duration and a brief summary of the lesson in our organisation’s app. Parents and children share an account and may log in at any time to view records and progress.
Our organisation does not require volunteer teachers to provide additional practice materials. However, parents may discuss this directly with the teacher, who may decide to do so voluntarily.
Yes. We generally aim to match students with volunteer teachers of the same gender to ensure a comfortable and secure learning environment.
