Volunteer Teacher Registration Process

Register as a Volunteer Teacher —
Procedures and Commitment to Safeguarding

“Little Dreams Free Learning Space” believes that every teacher who enters a child’s life is not only a transmitter of knowledge but also a trustworthy partner in their growth. To uphold this belief, we strictly follow the guidelines of the Hong Kong Police Force to create a safe and secure learning environment.

Since 15 December 2025, the Hong Kong Police Force’s Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) mechanism has been extended to cover volunteers, including volunteer teachers and volunteer sports coaches. As an education charity committed to student welfare, we fully comply with this policy to ensure that all volunteers who interact with children undergo the required checks, providing peace of mind to parents and safety for children.

The registration process for becoming a volunteer teacher is as follows:

Step 1: Fill out the registration form

Complete the Volunteer Teacher Registration Form on our website.

Step 2: Submit academic proof

We will email you an invitation to upload one of the following documents:

  • Graduation certificate from a local or overseas university (for graduates), or
  • Valid university student ID (for current university students)
Step 3: Undergo the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC)

Our organization will issue a formal invitation letter. You should:

  • Use our letter to make an appointment with the Hong Kong Police Force for the SCRC.
  • Attend the designated police station at the scheduled time to complete the process.
Step 4: Submit the check results

Take a clear photo of the SCRC result letter issued by the police and email it to the designated address of our organization.

Step 5: Collect your volunteer ID in person
  • If the check shows no relevant convictions, we will issue you a dedicated Volunteer Teacher PVC ID.
  • Please come to our office to collect the ID. Our staff will explain the teaching arrangements, guidelines, and important points.
Step 6: Begin teaching matching

After completing the above steps, we will match you with suitable students based on your expertise, available teaching hours, and student needs, and assist you in starting your teaching journey.
